About Me - Honors Portfolio
Me and my sisters!
Hello. My name is Grant Cothrel. I'm the middle one in the photo (the other two are my sisters)! This is my Honors Portfolio for the University of Cincinnati Honors Program. I maintain it to showcase some of my college experiences and reflect on the learnings I have been so lucky to have.
Currently, I'm in my 5th year at the University of Cincinnati. I'm in the Chemical Engineering program. I really enjoy my major, and as the classes become more challenging, I become more engaged. I have completed three co-op rotations at SABIC Innovative Plastics in Evansville, IN, and am now on my second term at Kaleidoscope Product Design and Innovation. I am a member and co-president of UC's premiere Bollywood Fusion A Capella group, UC Junoon.
Beyond school, I love my friends, my family, and music. I try to keep up with the friends I've made, and enjoy making new ones. As far as music goes, I play guitar, bass guitar, piano, ukulele, and a little bit of trumpet and drums. I love writing songs, and my biggest influence is probably the Beatles, along with modern bands like the Morning Benders, tUnE-yArDs, and Dr. Dog. That's me in a nut shell. Check out my other pages to learn more about my experiences at UC.
